Speaker Biography

Phil McGrane serves as Idaho's 28th Secretary of State. His happy, honest approach to public service has earned him national recognition for making government more accessible, transparent, and worthy of the public's trust. He led the modernization of voter services through VoteIdaho.gov, developed Idaho's nationally recognized 12 Principles of Elections, and was invited to testify before Congress following Idaho's successful administration of the 2024 presidential election. Phil serves as Western Region Vice President of the National Association of Secretaries of State, and his work has been recognized by TIME, Fast Company, the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, and other leading organizations.
